Jaysco was founded in 2008 as an independent consultancy by social entrepreneur Jay Baughan.
For over 14 years, Jaysco has operated within Africa, the Middle East and Europe in the fight to empower communities to tackle their own issues - through trusted community operators.
A family owned and managed holding company, Jaysco is focused upon forging collaborations with public and private sectors in the support for charities and social enterprises. Jay himself sits as Executive Chairman and personally oversees activities within all enterprises and charities Jaysco has interest in.
Our Chair & Philanthropy
Our Chair is Jay Baughan, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts who has - in a career spanning over 35 years - operated as a solution leader within some of the world's most challenging environments.
Since 2008, Jaysco has supported national and local governments, civil service bodies and also community leadership to change the status quo.
We've invested into community-run projects/enterprises as we believe changemakers are the key to our future health and safety.
Creating the Pluggin Model...
We created the Activ8Change (later renamed Pluggin) model as a framework for connecting international brand marketing into community development; building a digital environment called Social Impact Register® to facilitate content sharing, funding and development resources NGOs - building new capability, embedding real governance and setting a quality mark that ensures brands will invest in their community activities.
