Building upon millions of Home Office investment used to establish Violence Reduction infrastructure...

The foundations are in place across the UK, after years of Home Office (taxpayers) investment, so what now?

Money to maintain VRU programmes cannot be sustained through the government - another solution is needed.

Welcome to the UK's first 3rd sector created and managed ecosystem, which harnesses regional public procurement social value to financially sustain and grow community-based violence reduction.

Home Office & Commissioners...

In January 2024, our leadership team reached out to offer a hand of collaboration to the Home Office and all of the elected UK Crime Commissioners.

Why?

Post-covid, the economy is not able to financially sustain violence reduction activities within communities, we knew the Home Office had requested an alternative 'financial sustainability' solution from each of its 21 Violence Reduction Units/Partnerships/Networks

Let's work together...

The Pluggin Ecosystem offers a regionalised, communities-led solution which the Home Office and Crime Commissioners can collaborate with  to connect-in millions in public procurement-based supplier social value.

A simple plug-and-go opportunity for VRU/VRP/VRN teams with established programmes which suppliers can contribute into for the longer-term.

Social value is key to the financial sustainability of UK violence reduction programmes...

In late 2021, work began with Thames Valley Police to adapt our ecosystem to accommodate the social value processes and regulations within police procurement.

This led to the Thames Valley Violence Prevention Partnership being the regional focus for supplier social value within commissioning - to target a contracted social value-into violence reduction.

Joint Promotion of Violence Reduction

We have an obligation to our business members to not just connect them into the ecosystem, but to also ensure they are publicly recognised for playing a role in supporting charities & social enterprises who are tackling serious violence within communities.

We connect our communications operation, into police and fire, council and NHS communications operations across the UK:
